Item Types
Items in The Clans fall into several categories:

| Weapons | Increase your attack damage. |
| Armor | Increase your defense. |
| Shields | Provide additional protection. |
| Scrolls | Single-use spells that can be read during combat. |
| Spell Books | Permanently teach a spell to one member. |
| Miscellaneous | Various other items with special properties. |
Your clan can hold up to 30 items total.

Equipping Items
After purchasing or finding items, you must equip them on your members for them to take effect. Each member can have one weapon, one set of armor, and one shield equipped at a time. Unequipped items remain in your clan's shared inventory.

Quality
The quality of items available at the market varies day to day. Market quality fluctuates between average, good, very good, and excellent. Better quality means better stats on the items for sale, but also higher prices.
