Overview

The market is where you buy and sell equipment for your clan. The available commands are:

W	Buy weapons.
A	Buy armor.
S	Buy shields.
T	Trading. Make trades with other clans (not available on your first day).
P	Pawn shop. Buy and sell used items.
Z	Wizard's shop. Buy scrolls and spell books.
V	View stats.
/	Chat with villagers in the market.
Q	Return to the main menu.

Weapons, Armor, and Shields

Press W, A, or S to browse the weapon, armor, or shield shops. You will see a list of available items with their stats and prices. Prices are affected by the village's goods and sales tax (GST) set by the ruler.

To equip a purchased item, go to the item in your inventory and assign it to a member. Each member can equip one weapon, one set of armor, and one shield.

Pawn Shop

The pawn shop lets you buy used items at reduced prices or sell items you no longer need. The pawn shop is only available if the village has one built (see section 12.4). Higher pawn shop levels offer a better selection.

Wizard's Shop

The wizard's shop sells magical items. It is only available if the village has a wizard's shop built. The commands are:

Key	Action
S	Buy scrolls. Single-use spell items for combat.
B	Buy spell books. Teach a permanent spell to one member.
X	Examine item. Identify an item in your inventory. This costs 25% of the item's value.
V	View stats.
Q	Return to the market.

Trading

Press T at the market to trade with another clan. Trading is not available on your first day. You select a clan to trade with and propose an exchange of gold, followers, or troops.
